Tara Leahy
Tara Leahy is an Associate attorney with Bainbridge, Mims, Rogers & Smith LLP in Birmingham, Alabama. Tara’s practice focuses on business, commercial, and civil litigation, as well as probate and estate matters, where she represents clients in a broad range of disputes with a practical, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach.
Before joining Bainbridge, Mims, Rogers & Smith LLP, Tara practiced at a boutique probate firm in Birmingham, where she handled estate administration, litigation, and fiduciary matters. This experience provided her with a foundation in navigating complex financial and procedural issues, which she now leverages in her litigation practice.
A native of Madison, Alabama, Tara graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in English. She earned her Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where she was active in the Alabama Student Bar Association, Cumberland Women in Law, and the Cumberland Externship Program.
Tara is admitted to practice in the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. She is also a member of the Birmingham Bar Association.
Outside of her practice, Tara enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
