Betsy Nicholson Terenzi

Betsy Terenzi’s practice focuses on general civil and business litigation matters. As a Birmingham native, Ms. Terenzi received a B.A. degree from The University of Alabama before earning her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as a member of the Managing Board of the Alabama Law Review and argued on behalf of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.
Ms. Terenzi is the author of “Protecting the Alabama Surrogate: A Legislative Solution,” 69 Ala. L. Rev. 701 (2018). Before joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable R. David Proctor of the Northern District of Alabama.
Beyond her professional activities, Ms. Terenzi is an active member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham and attends Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Ms. Terenzi also enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching Alabama football.
